Bloom Co. is a small specialty flower farm based in Holden, Massachusetts, rooted in the belief that seasonal beauty belongs in everyday life.
RYAN & MARGARET
After successful careers in product development, business and innovation it was time to follow our passion - Our joint desire for growing, creating and bringing beautiful flowers and vegetables to people drove us to create Bloom Co.
Today we combine our unique forces and work together everyday to bring our vision to people, the community and out family.
Margaret grew up in rural Mississippi and moved to Massachusetts for higher education when she was 18, she worked as a pharmacist then moved to product development where she met Ryan. He moved to the US from the UK in 2005, born in Scotland, where his love for innovation and design brought them together.
LIFE TODAY
Ryan and Margaret live on the farm with their 5 children, 2 dogs, cat, fish and chickens, located in the beautiful town of Holden, Ma.
Today, the fields burst with seasonal flowers, from sweet peas and tulips in the Spring to stunning dahlias in the fall and hundreds of vegetables in between. Fresh cut flowers from April to October fill their days and dried florals and decor keep them busy in the winter months.
You will likely find Margaret in the greenhouse, planting and transplanting new seeds and plants in between arranging and building beautiful bouquets. New projects from raised bed design, rain capture, solar cells, and hydroponics will keep Ryan busy.

We grow and gather flowers slowly, with attention to timing, place, and quality. Our work follows the natural rhythm of the year - fresh blooms in their moment, dried botanicals that extend the season, and simple experiences that invite people to pause and connect.
